Updating Alarm.com User Codes

1. Creating a New User Code

1.1. Via the Alarm.com App

  1. Login to the Alarm.com app
  2. Tap 
  3. Tap Users
  4. Tap 
  5. Enter the user’s first and last name then tap Create
  6. In Access Code, enter the user’s desired code
  7. Tap    to enable access to devices with the user’s code (i.e., alarm panel, locks)
  8. Tap Save
  9. Allow a few minutes for the new user code to be active at the alarm panel
  10. To add user contact information, tap Add Contact
  11. Tap either Mobile Number or Email Address to add contact details
  12. Tap Save to add the new user contact information

1.2. Via the Alarm.com Web Portal

  1. Login to the Alarm.com web portal via https://blusky.com.au/security-system-login/
  2. From the left-hand toolbar, click Users
  3. Click Add User
  4. Enter the user’s first and last name then click Create
  5. In Access Code, enter the user’s desired code
  6. Click to enable access to devices with the user’s code (i.e., alarm panel, locks)
  7. Click Save
  8. Allow a few minutes for the new user code to be active at the alarm panel
  9. To add user contact information, click Add Contact
  10. Click either Mobile Number or Email Address to add contact details
  11. Click Save to add the new user contact information

2. Changing Existing User Codes

2.1. Via the Alarm.com App

  1. Login to the Alarm.com app
  2. Tap 
  3. Tap Users
  4. Tap to select the user to update
  5. Tap the access code field
  6. In Access Code, enter the new user code
  7. Tap Save to send the changes to the system

2.2. Via the Alarm.com Web Portal

  1. Login to the Alarm.com web portal via https://blusky.com.au/security-system-login/
  2. From the left-hand toolbar, click Users
  3. Click  on the desired user
  4. Click ✏️ to edit user information
  5. Click the access code field
  6. In Access Code, enter the new user code
    • A new code can also be generated by clicking Generate Code
  7. Select which devices and features the user will have access to
  8. Click Save to send the changes to the system

3. Deleting Existing Users

3.1. Via the Alarm.com App

  1. Login to the Alarm.com app
  2. Tap 
  3. Tap Users
  4. Tap    on the desired user
  5. Tap 
  6. Tap Delete to confirm

3.2. Via the Alarm.com Web Portal

  1. Login to the Alarm.com web portal via https://blusky.com.au/security-system-login/
  2. From the left-hand toolbar, click Users
  3. Click  on the desired user
  4. Click 
  5. Click Delete to confirm
