Back to base alarm monitoring is a service that provides 24/7 surveillance of your property to action any potential threats, such as break-ins, fires, or other emergencies.
Alarm monitoring works as an add-on to your existing security system, or we can install a new security system with sensors and detectors throughout your property that are connected to a central monitoring station. When an alarm is triggered, the monitoring station is immediately notified and can take appropriate action, such as dispatching authorities or notifying your contacts.
Alarm monitoring can be used for a variety of alarms, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, panic/duress alarms, and more.
While alarm monitoring is not required by law, it is highly recommended for homes and businesses that want to ensure the safety and security of their property and occupants. It means someone is always watching over your property and can action issues whether you are available at the time or not.
You will need a compatible security system (which most are). No phone line or internet is required, as we will install a device which uses the 4G/5G mobile network to communicate to the monitoring centre. If you don’t have one, or require an upgrade, we have multiple hard wired and wireless options available to suit your requirements.
If there is a false alarm, depending on the type of alarm system you have, we may be able to disable the zone remotely until we can get a technician out to rectify the fault. If we can’t disable remotely, the monitoring centre can ignore signals from that sensor for a period of time, so your contacts are not disturbed unnecessarily.
Our primary control room is in South Australia and have a second control room in New South Wales. Our two control rooms provide redundancy across each allowing us to provide the best service for our clients.
