Adding PoE Cameras to Alarm.com User Guide

1. Installing the App

  1. Open your phone or tablet’s app store
  2. Download the Alarm.com app.

2. Account Setup

  1. A Blu Sky representative will advise you once the Alarm.com account has been setup
  2. An email will be sent containing a link to create a password and complete the setup

3. Adding Cameras

  1. Connect the cameras to a PoE switch that is connected to your Internet modem
  2. Wait a few minutes for the camera to connect to the Internet
  3. With a computer connected to the same network as the cameras, open your web browser and login to your Alarm.com account via https://blusky.com.au/login/
  4. From the left-hand menu on the home page, click Video
  5. Click Settings
  6. Click Add New Video Device
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to add and setup the cameras

4. Troubleshooting

  1. If this banner appears, the cameras are not connected to your network with Internet connection or the computer you are using is not connected to the same network:
    Notice: No new cameras were found
  2. Verify the cameras are connected to the network and powered up
